TIMELINE

4 Months

Hero

Brex is reimagining the financial systems that make every growing company tick. A cohesive set of work was created to speak to the variety of services Brex provides for their Mid-Market customers.

Overall Goals

The final campaign rollout included a massive out-of-home campaign, including a digital billboard in front of Las Vegas’ Caesar Palace, a full social media campaign, online advertising, partnerships, and more.

Static Banners

To create each series of static banners, I collaborated with our copywriter and art director to accurately convey the client’s vision. The range of ad sizes speaks to how important it is to design for scalability and flexibility.

Social Campaign

To target small business and younger users interested in the financial services space, a social campaign also launched to unveil the new branding. Through a series of social media ads, animations, and photography, this cohesive set of work was created to speak to the variety of services Brex provides.

Making money move

Motion was a very important element in Brex’s identity. All of the motion relies on ideas of finding focus, illuminating information, and being in the flow of business. Techniques such as zooming, panning, and scaling were all used to help communicate these messages.

Web+ Mobile Design

With the rollout of a new social campaign, their online web presence needed to stay updated as well. Working with copywriters to communicate Brex’s new tone, the design of the site took form by showcasing all financial tools and services that
are offered.

Digital Networks

From the beginning of October through mid November 2021, a series of digital out of home animated banners were displayed in different locations across Las Vegas, Nevada. From airport concourses in McCarran International Airport, to Tropicana Avenue, all the way to Caesar’s Palace, these digital banners rolled out Brex’s new branding in high traffic areas.

Takeaways

Familiarizing yourself with a brand and design system is essential to creating a cohesive series of work. Whether working to make static or animated assets, all the work should appear as if it came from one voice.
